Last night Your Favorite Rhythm Section, Larry Drennan and
Patrick Stonehouse, took their patented Rhythm Method™ to the Cobra Lounge for what
must have been a hard rocking show by The Bionic Cavemen! Patrick did sound engineering because
frequent guest drummer and adjunct Foz the Hooker Jose Bernal plays drums for
the Cavemen.

So, what happened at Cole’s last night? Awesome happened at Cole’s last night! That’s your answer. Josh Paloma and Mary Spray, better known as
Sad Banana helped Your Old Pal Foz stir up the room in anticipation of a wild
night of open micing.
Oh, if you don’t know what a Sad Banana is, neither did I
(and Your Pal Foz has been around the block – twice!). Apparently a Sad Banana sex act is a simple
hand job, but lubricated with tears. How
elegant!
Anyway, Sad Banana the Band are swell people and hilarious
performers.
I think YOU should buy tickets to this Sunday’s unspeakably
amazing comedy band festival Laughingstock at the Double Door.
You will see any number of Sad Bananas and Foz the Hookers!
